Dear CTAHE Members,
It is my distinct pleasure to welcome you to my first issue of our CTAHE newsletter. As your President, I am thrilled to embark on this new journey with all of you, aimed at fostering deeper connections, sharing knowledge, and celebrating our collective achievements.
Reflecting on Our Journey
This organization has a rich history of bringing together professionals dedicated to advancing healthcare leadership and excellence. Over the years, we have grown not just in numbers, but in strength, resilience, and impact. We have navigated through challenges, celebrated numerous milestones, and continued to push the boundaries of what is possible in our field. It is my pleasure to share with you formally that CTAHE has received the Award for Chapter Distinction for 2025 and the Award for Sustained Chapter Performance for the 8th consecutive year.
Chapter award-winners will be acknowledged during the Congress on Healthcare Leadership at the Malcolm T. MacEachern Memorial Lecture and Luncheon on Tuesday, March 25 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas. If you will be at Congress, be sure to register for the lunch so we can take part in this recognition together.
Highlights of the Past Year
- Programs & Events: We hosted four major events: State of the State, Annual Golf Outing, Annual Meeting, and 20th Anniversary Celebration. Each saw a turnout of over 100 attendees and allowed our chapter to surpass our education and networking objective by achieving nearly 8,000 total attendee hours (13.2 indexed attendee hours). These events provided invaluable learning opportunities and fostered meaningful networking.
- Membership Growth: Our chapter increased membership by 6%, while also increasing our chapter membership retention rate. Our total fellows increased to over 100 for the first time in several years.
- Member Satisfaction: CTAHE achieved the ACHE member satisfaction objective of a 4.1/5 which is an objective the CTAHE has sustained consecutively for several years highlighting our focus and commitment to membership value.
- Professional Development: Numerous workshops and training sessions were organized, equipping our members with the latest skills and knowledge to excel in their careers.
Looking Ahead
As we move forward, our focus will remain on fostering deeper connections, sharing knowledge, growing our membership and celebrating our collective achievements. There are several exciting initiatives lined up for the coming year that I am eager to share with you. First, I am excited to share with our members a new partnership with Berkeley Research Group (BRG). BRG has agreed to sponsor CTAHE’s Breakfast with Leaders Series matching industry experts with local healthcare executives to discuss timely and relevant topics in an informal setting. We will be hosting these in different locations across the state. More information soon!
