Telehealth encompasses a broad variety of technologies and tactics to deliver virtual medical, health, and education services in order to enhance care delivery. Telehealth initiatives allow physicians to use video conferencing, image-sharing technology, electronic medical records and other tools to remotely help monitor, examine and diagnose patients and recommend treatment. Patients can have secure, confidential consultation with a physician by using their phone, smartphone or a computer with a webcam and internet connection.

About Our Speaker:
Dr. Andrew Keller, Chief Medical Officer and Chief Medical Information Officer for Western Connecticut Medical Group. Dr. Keller received his Doctor of Medicine degree from The Ohio State University and complete a medical residency at Duke University Medical Center Hospitals in Durham, SC and a Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Texas, Health Science Center Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, TX. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine Cardiology Subspecialty and the American Board of Internal Preventive Medicine in Clinical Informatics.
He has been an attending physician at Danbury Hospital for almost 30 years the Chief Medical Information Officer for Western Connecticut Medical Group since 2015.
