Co-Chairs Cynthia James and Janaya Hernandez appreciate diversity in the workplace, providing the resources for equity, and ensuring equal access and inclusion to those resources. They are both looking to bring that passion to the CTAHE DE&I Committee.

Here are some reasons why you should join the CTAHE diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) committee:

• To make a difference. You will work to create a more inclusive and equitable chapter, and your contribution can help make a real difference. 
• To learn and grow. You will have the opportunity to hear from people with different backgrounds and perspectives, and you will gain new skills and knowledge that you can use in your professional and personal life.
• To build relationships. Joining our committee is a great way to meet other people who share your values and who are committed to making a difference. 
• To be a role model. By joining the DE&I committee, you can show others that you are committed to creating a more inclusive world. You can show them that it is possible to create a workplace where everyone feels valued and respected.
