CTAHE Women’s Forum Annual Scholarship Award
The Women’s Forum of the Connecticut Association of Healthcare Executives (CTAHE) application period is now closed for 2020.
The purpose of the Women’s Forum Scholarship Award is to recognize a deserving CTAHE member who demonstrates leadership in healthcare management. The Women’s Forum will sponsor the awardee’s attendance at the American College of Healthcare Executives Congress on Healthcare Leadership held annually in Chicago, Illinois, providing $1,500.00 reimbursement towards the registration, travel and lodging expenses.
The Women’s Forum Scholarship is also prepared to recognize a deserving undergraduate or graduate student who demonstrates a commitment to a career in healthcare management. Students enrolled in accredited certificate programs that will further their careers in healthcare management. The recipient of this scholarship will receive $1,500 to be used towards their education and membership to the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). Candidates for this scholarship must be presently enrolled and matriculated in an accredited degree program or certificate program with their studies focused on a health-related subject, management or healthcare administration.
Promoting professional development and personal growth is the mission of the Women’s Forum, provided through networking and educational opportunities. The Women’s Forum began in 1981 as a nonprofit association, and formerly called Connecticut Women in Healthcare Management, the legacy continues through a 2010 merger with the CTAHE and its re-branding as the Women’s Forum, providing expanded interaction with women working within all aspects of the healthcare industry.
Candidates for the scholarship must be female and those applying for the scholarship to attend the ACHE Congress must be current members of the Connecticut Association of Healthcare Executives.
