Committees

The goal of the Programs Committee is to plan, organize, and deliver quality-based educational and networking events that benefit all of our membership, promote interaction through networking, and encourage membership in our CTAHE group. This is accomplished through the delivery of Category 1 (In-Person Education) and Category 2 (Qualifying Education) educational events, and through cosponsoring events with groups such as CHA and the Yale School of Management. Co-Chairs – Janeille Ervin and Oladayo Sule.

The goal of Higher Education Network Committee is to forge partnerships with schools in the region, training students in healthcare management. Co-Chairs – Stephen Liebowitz and Tami McCumons.

The Health Equity Alliance Committee is for those who have a genuine interest in getting people of diverse backgrounds together and who want to improve the inclusive nature of CTAHE with the goal of increasing health equity. Co-Chairs – Janaya Hernandez and Greg Murphy.

The purpose of the Women’s Forum is to promote the growth of women in healthcare professions, foster mutual support, professional development, and provide educational and networking opportunities. Please see this page for more information. Co-Chairs – Susan Prior and Julie Vigil.

The Physician Advisory Committee is focused on the expansion of CTAHE membership in non-traditional sectors of the healthcare industry, while also developing new programming and education geared towards clinical leadership and advancement into leadership positions. Co-chairs – Christopher Bauer, MD and Amanda Ayers, MD

The Sponsorships Committee serves as the focal point for fielding inquiries about sponsorships and developing CTAHE’s sponsorship program. Co-Chairs – Stephen Liebowitz and Alex Ofer.

The Marketing & Communications Committee is responsible for ensuring active communication for members, including management of the chapter newsletter and website. Co-Chairs – Siobhan Blancaflor and Claudio Capone.
